She has a knack for understanding the web: It’s just always made sense. She understands things like how apache/mysql/php can deliver a website’s frontend and knowing where to look when troubleshooting problems, to things like organizing content and on-page SEO, using css, creating graphics to testing and tracking. Hands on, real world experience.

If that sounds like a lot of ground to cover, it is. Lisa’s been on the frontline helping businesses market on the web for ages (in internet time). She remembers the web before Google, when Yahoo was a 2 guys with a list of links. Things have changed a lot over the years, it’s more complex, but what hasn’t changed is Brown’s passion for creating successful sites.

Lisa educates her clients in the ‘ways of the web’, making recommendations and explaining the options and opportunities, translating the technical geek speak into actionable information.

Lisa Brown has worked for many companies across many industries and enjoys the challenge of learning about each.

Lisa has also done one on one teaching with clients, spoken at events and worked on curriculum for beginning web marketers. Topics include: WordPress, social media, blogging, SEO (search engine optimization) basics, hosting and internet marketing.

She lives in Houston with her husband Rodney and their 2 kids. When not working online, you’ll likely find her at the beach on Galveston Island – or planning the next trip.
